Theme Licensing.

Customers receive a limited license to use purchased Etchture Co themes for their own website, business, or approved client project depending on the license selected. Purchasing a theme does not transfer ownership of the original design, files, layouts, code, documentation, graphics, brand assets, or intellectual property.

Important

All Etchture Co themes remain the intellectual property of Etchture Co. Customers may customize purchased themes for permitted use, but may not resell, redistribute, repackage, share, upload, or claim the original theme files as their own.

The Four Tiers

Choose the license that fits your work.

Tier 01

Personal License

Best for: Individual creators, bloggers, and personal brands using one theme for one website.

Tier 03

Commercial License

Best for: Digital entrepreneurs, educators, creators, and business owners using the theme across multiple owned brands or commercial projects.

Use on up to 10 websites owned or operated by the purchaser

Best for: Designers, consultants, agencies, and service providers who want to use Etchture Co themes for approved client projects.

Reselling standalone theme files
Giving clients raw reusable template files for redistribution

Sharing download access with non-license holders

What You Can Always Do.

All license holders may customize purchased themes with their own text, images, logo, colors, blog content, offers, and brand details. You may use the completed website to promote your business, sell your services, publish content, collect leads, and present your brand professionally.

Hard Limits

What You Can Never Do.

Regardless of license tier, customers may not:

Resell Etchture Co theme files
Share files with others
Upload files to free or paid marketplaces
Claim Etchture Co designs as original work
Repackage themes as new digital products
Create competing template products from Etchture Co files
Distribute download links
Sell modified versions as standalone templates

License Upgrades.

If your usage needs change, you may upgrade your license by contacting Etchture Co support. For example, if you purchased a Personal License and later need client-use rights, you must upgrade before using the theme for client work.
